Our Team

Dru has a passion for financial planning that started during dinner table conversations with his parents and their financial advisor growing up. He turned this into a career just in time for the Great Recession. While not the ideal time to start, this forged him into the financial professional he is today. He has seen the best and worst of markets.

He is passionate about working with clients to pursue their unique goals through planning and helping to navigate through changing market conditions. Dru will admit to being the nerd of the group when it comes to doing investment research and implementing his strengths for the good of his clients.

Besides being the investment nerd of the group, Dru is a real people person, often cooking for and entertaining friends and family. Always the athlete, he also enjoys spending his free time, playing golf, tennis, basketball, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, and skiing.

Drew is on the frontlines as an advocate for clients. His passion is undeniable and quite noticeable as he will talk your ear off about the many avenues he can help you pursue your goals.

He always loved reading the stock pages with his grandfather in the local paper. Drew’s grandfather instilled in him the desire and need to understand financial strategies. After a career practicing law, Drew realized his first love was investing, and he decided to answer the call he’s felt most of his life.

While obsessing over random facts makes Drew very fun at parties and a whiz at trivia, he also has a few other interests. He enjoys time with his family on the lake, fitness, and riding his motorcycle.

Mark brings almost two decades of experience in client relationships building.  His goal is to help our clients feel like they are welcome and involved in their investment experience.

Mark grew up in Valley Center, Kansas.  He served in the US Army and graduated from the University of Kansas.  He brings dedication and drive to our team.

Mark is an avid tennis player when not at the office.  He, also, has two daughters and he and his wife are active in their church.

Diane brings a warm demenor to the Core Concepts team. As a real “People person” Diane loves the feeling of knowing people and she works hard to make everyone feel welcome when they decide to work with us.

She grew up in a small town outside Lawrence, Kansas. Diane was gratefully influenced by the community she grew up in. She values real people and is driven to help people at any opportunity to do so.

Diane is a very well-rounded person. When she is not working, she loves to be spending time with her family at Lake Perry. She is involved in her local community by volunteering and coordinating events.
